Ancillary Task - Magazine Advertisement Final Piece

This is my final design and Mock-up for my magazine advertisement, advertising the release of the 'Living Things' Digipack by 'Linkin Park'.

Final Design

My Final design for my Digipack Advertisement is designed a lot better from my original design as it is simple. with the album title taking up a vast majority of the poster rather than the design being the whole poster. With the extra room at the bottom of the poster i could add all of the extra details about the release and information such as social medias, websites and production company logos. A nice touch I think went well was the two critic reviews of the album I added.

This mock-up is of my Advert for my digipack actually in a magazine, this is how it would look if I was to produce it as a product. You can see that the black and white colour pallet really attracts you to the page, along with the red writing and the green Spotify logo is very visible to you as the reader.

Conventions
In my designs for my poster and magazine advert there are a range of similarities with my designs and the professional releases from Linkin Park. All the conventions are circled and link to the corresponding colour in the other poster.

On the posters I have circled all conventions and they correspond through a colour code to the ones on my poster.
You can see that i have followed many conventions of professional adverts from:
-The presence of the band name and album title,
-An image of the album cover,
-A release date/ out now stamp,
-Infomation on some of the songs seen on the album,
How you can listen to the album (CD,DVD, Digital Download),
-Website address
and
-The albums record label.

Some things that I have added that i think worked really well on the advertisement are:
-Social Media
- Critic reviews/ Feedback
