For my the advert part of my ancillary task I decided to create a teaser release in which the band would release on social media to gain hype for the album.
This is the poster I created to tease the release of the album.
On the poster not much is shown other than a date of the release and the bands logo which can be seen in the '?' dot.
This is the teaser tweet that the band can release to gain a following for the album. The date of the tweet is the 20th of January. This is one month before the release date of the album. The band themselves don't give away anything about the album and just say about the release date.
Rock Sound is a very popular music magazine, with them tweeting about the release of the album this will give the band free publicity to what can be a much larger audience for free...
This is a promotional tweet from the bands twitter, it is time stamped on the 20th of February which is the album release date and, it on the tweet it tells their audience that their album is out for purchase both physical and digital copy and that you can also purchase a limited edition CD/DVD Digipack which would be for the more devoted fans.
This was my original concept for my digipack advertisement, however I felt it was a bit all over the place and that it didn't attract the audiences eye so i didn't continue to finish it by adding the digipack edition or and other little bits.
