Ancillary Task - Digipak

For the first task of my ancillary, I used my planning of my digipack and my research to come up with a visually appealing and thought provoking digipack cover.

To start with, I went down to the art block at my school to take a photo of a model head that they have. I then edited it with preinstalled patterns to give the final photo a pastel pink and patterned look.

As seen in my planning I experimented with the design of my text, for this cover I decided to go with the text in the middle of the cover in a box with the text and box being white to really stand out on the pastel pink cover but also to fit in the colour palette. The sticker on the bottom reads: "Limited Edition - CD/DVD Copy - 2 Disk Special Includes Hit Single 'Castle of Glass'". This allows the audience and most devoted fans know that there are different types of albums available.

This Mock-up is a music player and was made to see how my album artwork would look like in a real life situation as if somebody was to listen to the album on an electronic device and in music services such as Spotify or iTunes.
