Music Permission

I attempted to gain permission from Warner Bros Music to use the song 'Castle of Glass' in my music video.

After searching the internet for ages for a contact email address for Warner Bros Records, the only one I could find was 'fansupport@wbr.com'

I sent the following email to them but received only an automated reply:

However, after doing some research, I found out that legally on youtube you can publish a fan made video / educational source with copyrighted music.

All that happens is the record label put in a copyright claim on your video and they monetise it to gain revenue from any ads that will appear on your video.

It is a helpful system for students like myself so I do not have to spend any money getting to use the music and the Record label could potentially make money from letting me upload the video.
