After running our pitch through our focus group we feel we gained some valuable feedback to what they liked and what they felt could be improved.
From our pitch, we understand that our audience:
-Like the story and how we are addressing an issue.
-The cinematic feel to the music video where it is kinda like a film.
-Everyone seems to love the idea of a powerful emotional ending.
-They like how the story fits with the lyrics of the song.
-They like the idea of the video being a narrative performance.
Some points of improvement we got where:
-Add some sound perspective at the start when he puts his headphones on.
-The slow motion wouldn't really work with the fast parts of the song.
-How are we going to get the audience emotionally attached to the character right from the beginning?
