Research into Micro-features

In our Music video pitch for 'Castle of Glass' we will be using a few micro-features.

Slow Motion: Slow motion (commonly abbreviated as slow-mo) is an effect in film-making whereby time appears to be slowed down.
Slow motion can also be achieved by playing normally recorded footage at a slower speed.

Lip Syncing: is a technical term for matching lip movements with prerecorded sung or spoken vocals that the listeners hear, either through the sound reinforcement system in a live performance or television or cinema speakers in other cases.  (source Wikipedia)

Unconventional Transitions: These types of transitions are different from the normal fade through or just straight cuts as they involve camera movements and external sources such as light to change into the next scene. Transitions like these can be seen in the music video for 'Maps' by Maroon 5.

Sound Perspective: This is when diagetic sound can be heard in the music video, but disappears if the main character puts headphones in or walks away from the source of the noise.
